He knows us better than we know ourselves. It's so comforting to know that he sees right through to our hearts and does not judge us as the world does.

I come to church to hear the word, to fellowship with other believers, to honor God, and to praise with other beleivers. I know that simply going church is not what saves me. How awesome that we can have a personal relationship with Jesus, that he is available to us any time of the day or night and not just when we go to church!

Jacob wrestled physically, we wrestle mentally with our "dilemmas" and the result is the same if we let God do His perfect work in us. Mary and Martha not only had their brother raised to life, but they grew in their faith and understanding of Jesus Christ. Rejoicing replaced blaming and the event became a source of ministry to others for we can only imagine how the story of Lazarus spread far and wide. How like God to "work things together for our good..." Now that puts a whole different spin on the challenges we face, however difficult, however undesirable. Intellectually I know this, but tell it to my heart when I am struggling in the midst of my problem. Oh, that's the secret, Jesus said that we had to become as little children to enter the kingdom of heaven (Mt. 18:3) - childlike faith, trust, confidence. If we are not careful these characteristics are all stripped away by the time we grow up only to be replaced with despair and doubting.

AMEN - This is one of the most comforting thoughts to me. To know He understands me, the things I've been through and HE STILL LOVES ME!

So I think what your saying is... He Knows, (little humor in the midst of my crisis) that work shorted me my overtime, that I can't pay that fine thats due today, that I'm having trouble keeping up with the bills, and that I handle His money recklessly.
Well I know that He Knows there are lots of people out there in much worse situations than me. We have a Great God and Savoir, a home (for now), a car (God gave us), love for each other, a great church family (though I usually pull my "great disappearing act" around holidays), I have great coworkers. I have great neighbors (who bought me a pack last night.
He Knows... He Knows... He Knows...I am Blessed!!!

Like Jesus!!!
Totally! 4 Years ago... Like Jesus, a group of people and businesses came together, rebuilt and offered a car to 50 applicants. I was one of those applicants and with the help of two friends we compiled an essay and it was a 4 fold essay. Where have you been?, where are you?, where are you going?, and attach resume. Can you believe they picked me, I mean I told the truth. Homelessness, substance abuse, all the dirt. When I went in for the meeting... I remember Dale at Precision Auto telling me that I had the most potential. Like Jesus!!! People have a way of coming thru too!!!
